Justice Sunday at the Prison Art Gallery

Come to the Gallery for live music, prison poetry, and featured speaker Phillip Fornaci, director of D.C. Prisoners' Project of the Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights. Mr. Fornaci will answer your questions about the rights of DC prisoners and what is being done by him and his top-notch legal team to fully secure those rights. You won't want to miss this event if you have a loved one in jail or prison, or care about the men and women there.

U.R.I.'s Hempfest 2007

Presented by the U.R.I. Students for Sensible Drug Policy, Hempfest 2007 will be an all day outdoor festival held on the Quad of the U.R.I. campus. This event will feature music, including the Black Rebels, Sasquatch and the Sick-a-billys, the Fury 3, What Cheer? Brigade, and more.

The Morality of American Drug Policy

Eric E. Sterling, J.D., President of The Criminal Justice Policy Foundation in Silver Spring, will be speaking on "The Morality of American Drug Policy" to the Unitarian - Universalist Group at Leisure World -- Rossmoor, in Aspen Hill, Maryland, at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in the Leisure World Chapel, 3680 South Leisure World Boulevard, Silver Spring, MD 20906. The event is free and open to the public.

Sensible Colorado: Know Your Rights Training

Sensible Colorado is joining forces with national experts from the Midnight Special Law Collective to present an interactive role-playing presentation that teaches citizens how to survive common police encounters.
