A new survey of British attitudes toward drug policy reform suggests a new realism and pragmatism. Will the politicians follow the wisdom of the voters?
The Marijuana Policy Project will be working with other groups in Massachusetts to explore the possibility of placing a "decriminalization" initiative on the November 2008 ballot. To kick everything off, MPP executive director Rob Kampia will be meeting with supportive groups and individuals at a fundraising party in Boston on Thursday, February 22.
Mark Forsythe of CBC radio will be host/moderator for this special event featuring retired provincial court judge Jerry Paradis and Tony Smith, a retired police officer. Both men are members of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP).
