Party with Tommy Chong & Help Ed Rosenthal

Dear Friend, I would like to invite you to come join Tommy Chong and myself at my home in Oakland, CA for a great party to raise money for my defense fund. The party will celebrate how far we've come in legalizing Medical Marijuana as well as provide me with the money I need to fund my current trial that is defending all of our rights. Come out for some great food, groovy music and a great time.

Forum on the Decriminalization of Marijuana

This is an exploratory event to determine if activists and donors in Massachusetts are willing to invest the necessary time and money to put a possible initiative on the November 2008 ballot. Such a measure would eliminate the threat of arrest and jail for adults in possession of up to one ounce of marijuana. Instead, this offense would be punishable by a citation and a $100 fine. MPP’s Rob Kampia will be the guest speaker for this event. There will be a cash bar.

Marijuana Policy Project's Party at the Playboy Mansion

The party will be hosted by Joe Rogan, from NBC's "Fear Factor" and Comedy Central's "The Man Show," and will feature rapper, producer, and film director DJ Pooh, who often collaborates with Ice Cube and has also worked with LL Cool J, Tupac Shakur, and Snoop Dogg.

Miami-Dade Green Party Drug War Forum

On Saturday, January 27, the Miami-Dade Green Party and The Wallflower Gallery is going to be hosting a Forum on the Drug War. This educational event is going to gather various proponents for drug law reform and work to enhance some communication between various organizations and individuals. As part of this Forum, there will be panel discussion, information tables and question & answer sessions. In addition, there will be musical and spoken word performances by a selection of independent artists including Sweetbone.
