Sensible Colorado is joining forces with national experts from the Midnight Special Law Collective to present an interactive role-playing presentation that teaches citizens how to survive common police encounters.

Come remember CHEF RA!! Chef Ra passed away Dec 26th 2006. Had he been alive this would have been his 20th consecutive HASH BASH. This year's HASH BASH is dedicated to the memory of James "CHEF RA" Wilson Jr.

Ethan Nadelmann will debate James Q. Wilson, formerly a professor at Harvard University (where Ethan was one of his students) and UCLA, currently lecturing at Pepperdine. Professor Wilson is one of the country's most influential conservative voices on criminal justice issues.

This year, the theme is "Substance Abuse among Vulnerable Populations: Enhancing Treatment, Eliminating Disparities, and Promoting Justice." The summit will focus on health and criminal justice issues among vulnerable populations within the African American community. Special workshops will focus on adolescents, women, and the reentry population. The summit will convene key leaders from our member organizations and other experts that span across a variety of disciplines.

This conference will bring together policy-makers, government officials, business leaders, and community advocacy groups from across the country to explore ways in which they can together encourage successful offender reentry within their respective jurisdictions.

At this event we will help celebrate the 400th anniversary of the founding of English America at Jamestown, and also celebrate America's revolutionary heritage. But our U.S. and international speakers will also discuss innovative measures and strategies to solve some of today's serious problems. These are always exciting and memorable events, and this is a rare opportunity to enjoy an ISIL conference in the States (the first since 1990) and make new freedom-loving friends from here and abroad.
