here is where Radley summarizes how weird the state's case is
The state seems to be arguing that Wright [their informant, facing a felony charge] came to the police that night and said something to the effect of, "Okay, I found several marijuana plants in the guy’s garage tonight. I took a few. Don’t ask me how I got them. Also, I don’t have the actual plants anymore. Must have lost them. But I’m sure they were marijuana. Trust me on that. Also, somebody broke into his garage tonight. But it wasn’t me."
On that basis, the clock starting ticking on the officer's life.
Tragic that someone died from such an idiotic project, thank goodness it wasn't an innocent young man.
He's guilty of growing marijuana you say? Sorry, that's a bogus crime. When you're ready to fight real crime with real victims, this country can get back down to business again instead of this (usually) low grade civil war.
