Yesterday, we were approached at our movable art display, voter registration and information kiosk in Washington, DC by a policy advisor for a reputable candidate for governor in the state of Georgia. He wants to create a platform for his candidate that will incorporate realistic ideas for prison and re-entry improvements. If you have any ideas for him, please send them to us and we will pass them along. Second Chance Act of 2007
FBOP inmates indicate counselors say - "No One will be allowed 12 months in a "Community Correction Facility".
Per H. R. 1532 The Second Chance Act of 2007, the incentive for inmates to get their GED, take training classes & re-entry skills, is to get the maximum amount allowable in a CCC.
Why pass bills and fund these CCC's if they aren't used for the intended purposes????????????????????????
