The Years Best

I guess newspapers can't resist the urge to one up them selves.The Vancouver,Province Newspaper,in it's years most watched stories named the drug war as the star in three;The Picton Murders,The Drug Trade Gang War Murders(19 to date),and the Whole Justice System.The paper decries the lax sentencing and revolving door justice in B.C. Our criminals are un repentant(perhaps because they don't see why some can get high on their drug of choice while they can't).Of course readers are bemused by these wanton felons disrespect for law and order.Maybe one day they'll get it and stop this insane need they feel to live vicariously through the debris of other peoples lives.This has been a pretty good year for the good guys.At least it has been south of the border.It's only a matter of time before our prime minister crawls down out of GWB's ass and takes a look around.We can only hope that the damage that he does in the meantime is restricted by his minority government.That will require the opposition to acquire a pair.That,unfortunately ,is a stretch.
