Some people's Kids

I thought I'd met the ugliest people in this world already. Then I heard about a creep named Bert Tathum. It seems Bert is a narcotics officer that our government sent to Afghanistan to harass and destroy the living of the Afghan opium farmers. He decided he would take a day and do whatever in Dubai on his way home.He got caught with some poppy pods in his suitcase.Bert said they were for educational purposes.I guess Bert's never seen a poppy in Vancouver? To top it off ,now he's got their attention and they find hashish in his pocket. Now,Bert is a drug cop. There's no way Bert's gonna have That in his pocket, right. That's what Bert says any way.Bert gets four years.Bert's not happy. He writes to any and every body he can think of.He gets his family and his wife to write.Bert whines and whines.Bert was released recently on a pardon that the king orders every year at this time. He's coming home and I would imagine we'll hear some more whining from Bert.If there's any one in this world that deserved jail time,Bert's the boy.Anyone that makes his living harassing and jailing every one else for drugs, while doing them him self. For that person,I have less than no sympathy. The fact that he whined through the whole thing, protesting his innocence,is sickening. The fact that he now admits he had the hashish,"for educational purposes",is beyond the pale.

typical

typical cop double-standard. they "fully support" all laws except those that apply to them. cops have the worst attitude toward the law of any segment of the population. they think they're above it just because they enforce it.

hell hath no fury...

...like a cop in cuffs...

Bert

sicntired@mac.com Vancouver,B.C. Canada Bert's been mercifully silent since crying upon his return.Probably trying to convince his bosses that it was really all just a terrible mistake.Don't be surprised if he comes crashing through a door near you sometime soon.
