Getting Beyond Drugs, Getting Beyond the DTES, Getting Beyond the Four Pillars: Images of the DTES tell us little about addiction problems in other areas of the city and suburbs and other parts of the world. Facilitator Bruce Alexander shares stories about how all four pillars were used throughout the 20th Century. Our existing solutions are helping many individuals but they're not stopping the tidal wave. It's time to start thinking about addiction 'outside the box'.
