Another jailer gone bad, another deputy with problems, and a murky tale from Tennessee involving cops, docs, guns, and pills. New year, same old same old. Let's get to it:
In Rogersville, Arkansas, a Hawkins County Jail guard was arrested last weekend for allegedly smuggling drugs to an inmate. Jail officer Phillip Roberts, 18, was charged Saturday with introducing drugs into a penal institution. He went down after a tipster told the Hawkins County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit that he would be delivering specific drugs to a specific inmate. Roberts confessed during a Saturday interview with detectives, and the specified drugs were found in the cell of the inmate named by the tipster. The inmate has also been charged. Roberts has been suspended without pay. He and the inmate both face up to three to six years in prison.
In Idaho Falls, Idaho, a former Fremont County sheriff's deputy was sentenced Tuesday for stealing money and prescription drugs from the sheriff's office. Bradley Holjeson, 25, got 60 days in jail and five years probation for his sticky fingers. He started with bail bond money, then moved on to pills.
In Cleveland, Tennessee, two Cleveland Police officers have been arrested and a third will be once he gets out of drug treatment in a messy investigation linking the December 18 arrest of a local physician on charges he illegally prescribed painkillers and other drugs to a November shooting where one Cleveland police officer was shot by another. Officer Dennis Hughes was arrested December 22 and Officer Jonathan Hammons was arrested the following day. Hughes is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, aggravated perjury, and filing a false police report. Hammons is charged with aggravated perjury and filing a false police report. A prescription pill bottle found in Hughes car after Officer Chris Mason was shot in the hand came from the office of the indicted doctor. It belonged to Officer Nathan Thomas, who faces arrest once he gets out of drug treatment. Investigators said that since arresting one of the doctor's employees on drug charges in 2006 they had been aware of reports that at least one Cleveland police officer was selling Oxycontin and hydrocodone tablets, but had not developed sufficient evidence to make arrests before now. It remains unclear exactly what happened with the shooting.

And the beat goes on
Heard all this before? Yep! It was during the earlier prohibition of another drug, alcohol. It's to the point that this kind of thing isn't even news anymore. But, we should press this issue. We need to end prohibition before every cop in the country is corrupted by by it. That's if it's not too late already. Do honest cops like their reputations dragged through the mud? Well, prohibition makes them all look guilty by way of association. Atleast, we should demand an end to marijuana prohibition, effective immediately. That's because 85% of all illicit drugs is marijuana. So, we can reduce the 'drug problem' by 85% just by re-legalizing pot. Then we can look at how to best reduce the use of hard core drugs without the 800lb gorilla (pot) sitting in the corner.

one bad cop in cleveland tennessees city police dpt
Back in 1994 just a week after getting married me and my wife were on our way to a lil family get together for my cousin and her soon to be husband, everyone was bringing a gift mostly househld thing's like dishes electric can opener's and such,Just thing's they needed for their new home.Well,we were running late and I was driveing my father inlaws car and he had a bottle of mouthwash in it so I so I used some to gargle with,Like a cap full and the bottle was still full!! so we are on our way about 5 minutes away and a cleveland city cop hit's the blue light's so I pull over and I'm as polite as can be but this guy was a real jerk, smart mouth would'nt let me get a word in and I asked him what his problem was and he said if I opened my mouth again he would put me in the back of his car until he was finished searching my car.I gave him permission to search because I had nothing but a gift for my cousin, anyway he finds the bottle of mouthwash and pulls me out of his car and told me he was arresting me for DUI by drinking mouthwash!!! I told him he was wrong for what he was doing on the way to the police station and he pulled over and opened the door and started shocking me with this hand held shocker and it was knocking the hell out of me.to make a long story short I was on parole and he knew it and when I went to my parole hearing he made sure he was there and got me sent back to prison and it looked so bad on me because he made sure to make them think I was a hardcore alcholic because he said I was drunk on mouthwash.I told the parole man that if I wanted to get drunk I could have baught beer or liquor I did have almost $400 dollars on me why would I drink mouthwash but ofcourse they believed him and Ill never forget that guy's name david dorsett clleveland tennessee city police officer.I ended up spending 3 years in prison because I turned down the parole so that when I came home I could be free of thing's like that.Nothing was ever done for what he did to me and I dont care anymore I just want as many people to know that david dorsett is a cold hearted bad cop who hates anyone who has made mistakes in their life.I was 24 then and I'm 40 now and he still works in the police dpt!!!
bad cleveland cops
Cleveland is corrupt. People are treated so unfairly there that it scars them for life.
Who was the judge you stood before?
Police corrutption aided by DA in Cleveland TN
I have had the misfortune to experience police brutality for myself. With no evidence, no crime had been committted, myself and my sister were arrested and thrown in jail. We were not allowed to leave jail with all charges dropped until we signed a statement that we would not sue the state.
Your police force is made up of child molesters, thieves, bullies who brutalize anyone they 'want to' and brag how they "can do anything" they want without guidelines, rules, LAWS or any sort of restrictions. They boast how they throw ethnic people in jail so they can keep their quota up and the judges obey the DAs orders.
Do not think you are immune from their hate and violence, because there are corrupt cops on the force there is no protection from real criminals that are not on the police force. It could happen to you at any time and no one would know about it because they will violate your rights and not allow you to make a phone call nor have a decent attorney.
